Our Story
Lunchbox Comedy began in 2022 as a grassroots initiative aimed at uniting comedians across North America. Founded by Jeff Vance, it started as a local open mic night in Gonzales, Louisiana, providing a platform for comedians to connect and grow together. Over time, it evolved into a dynamic comedy ecosystem, hosting shows across the Gulf Coast, including Louisiana and Mississippi. Lunchbox Comedy now features a diverse lineup of performers and has expanded into podcasting and festival production, such as the Lunchbox Comedy Festival held in Gonzales and Biloxi, MS.
At Lunchbox Comedy we spotlight authentic voices from the South and beyond—anxious, outrageous, unfiltered, and always funny. From local showcases to festival stages (and even cruises), we’re building a comedy community that’s raw, real, and just a little unmedicated. Come hungry. Laugh loud.
